Windows 7 is now more or less fully installed and normally functional. Still doing some updating, thanks to the terrific Legacy Update project that collects and distributes all updates for all Classic versions of Windows.

This is one of the greatest projects that I can think of in terms of sustainable computing. Thanks to these people it became so much easier to protect and keep using our legacy systems.
Today I will:
- test Power Shell for Windows 7
- install Antix Linux base in VirtualBox, for C development
Once that is done I can finally proceed with the dweight.c program, as given in Chapter 2 of the book C Programming: A Modern Approach. Once Chapter 2 is done, I move to Chapter 1 in the book: Computer Systems: A Programmer's Perspective. I hope to follow both book's chapters alternatingly, unless I encounter stuff in the second book that needs more C knowledge than I have by that time. In that case I will stick to the first book until I have the required knowledge to continue with the second book, and then again do them alternatingly....
