Hello. It is not with full happiness, tbh, that I am making this transfer. It even tastes slightly like defeat. There just isn't a full solution to this dilemma. I lose an important aspect no matter my choice. But I can not get around 2 facts:
1) I need to use a fully supported recent OS to advance in programming professionally
2) I find it impossible to use Windows 11 without having to puke almost every second that I am using it, with every disgusting feature I bump into.
Windows 11 forces these abdominal features in your face, whether you want it or not. There are hardly any choices for a Windows user. If I use it, I become a partner in crime, or better, a slave in crime.
Devuan is Debian Linux without systemd. It is hard to avoid systemd among Linux distro's and I do not feel like isolating myself too much with BSD and possibly having hassle with drivers for my hardware.
