OS: Windows 10
As those who read my posts are aware of, I currently use Windows 10. The reason for the switch from Linux Fedora to Windows was that I could get almost no game to work. I suspect the reason is that there are no optimal (graphics) drivers for my laptop for Linux. I say this based on past experience and stuff that I read online. I have used Linux for years on all my devices and I could get at least 2/3th of Windows games working. On this laptop I could not even get 1/4th working.
C programming: WSL Debian + Vim + gnu-gcc
I use the Windows Subsystem for Linux, which makes it possible to run a Linux command line within Windows. I have installed WSL for Debian and it works like a charm, without all the hassle that comes with VM's. Within Debian CLI I use gnu-gcc and Vim for the C programming, as I am used to in Linux. However I also installed Microsoft's Visual Studio Code, because I want to learn how to use this software as well, so that I am fully ready for any kind of job.
