I have done a lot of introspection the past 2 days.
As you might remember I veered over Windows XP and 7, to a few Linux distro's, and then to Windows 10, over the past 3 months.
I have been pushed and pulled by two forces:
Use Windows 10 as a basis and using a retro operating system on top of it, in which I will continue my programming courses. Because old operating systems use very little memory, and Win 10 is well optimized for virtualization, on this laptop (not sure in this case which has the most impact, the software or the hardware), it should run better than it did when I used Linux distro's in VM before, in Windows XP and 7.
There is still doubt whether this emulated OS will be AmigaOS or MS-DOS. I am checking this out right now.

I have been pushed and pulled by two forces:
- my disgust versus modern computing and my will to resist it
- the fact that this laptop's hardware is not well supported for Linux + the need to easily communicate with others + the demands of the IT market
