Classic Commodore Amiga microcomputers made use of the Motorola 68000 CPU, which came in 16 and 32bit versions. Many microcomputers in the eighties were built on it: Amiga, Atari, Tandy, Apple, Sinclair, to name a few.

Hence, 68000 assembly is essential for understanding Amiga computers.
