Installing SAS/C unto Amiga 1200
Yesterday I installed SAS/C v6.50 unto my emulated Amiga 1200.
SAS/C is a compiler and IDE for C programming. It can handle up to the C90 ISO standard and can handle C++ too, be it experimentally (not sure which version).
SAS/C was in initially called Lattice C but was rebranded by the SAS institute, who bought Lattice C in 1987, as SAS/C. The same software has also been released for IBM compatible (x86) computers.
The version I have installed, v6.50, was released in 1993, right before Commodore International, the company behind Amiga, went bankrupt (1994).
I try to be consistent in not using any software or tools for Amiga that were released after 1994.
